I think this item would be good for 3D printing because it is simple to print and easy to modify the size or customize. It is also fun to play with.

This is a simple puzzle I have seen that I decided to model. It is made up of 6 identical pieces. This is a one part file to print six times, each one can be a different color. The SW2012 file is parametric with only one dimension (the end edge length) and the shell thickness. This makes scaling the puzzle a breeze. The zip file also contains an assembly file with the proper mates so you can see how it goes together and how to solve it if you have having difficulties.

I am working on getting an animation but I am not too skilled at doing this. Any help on that end would be greatly appreciated.
