It clearly shows, a CO2 powerlet, if excessivly heated, would relatively safely blow the membrane instead of totally rupturing. However, it would become a slightly dangerous projectile itself if let loose.

Wall thicknesses are true with an accuracy of approximately /- 0,025 mm measured from a cut open specimen by micrometer calipers and calibrated optical measurements.

It is difficult to exactly model the junction between the fuzed membrane and the flask neck, without using microscopy and acid treatment of the cut plane.
